Desde ontem a fachada da Tate Modern, em Londres, está de cara nova. A pedidos do museu, seis grafiteiros de diversos países interviram nas paredes externas do prédio. Dentre eles, estão os brasileiros Nunca e osgemeos. Até 25 de agosto.

As of yesterday, the Tate Modern’s façade, in London, is different. The Museum comissioned six artists to create site-specific works directly on the river’s façade. Among them, are the Brazilians Nunca and osgemeos. Until August 25.

Tanto a Galeria como o Galpão Fortes Vilaça estarão funcionando normalmente na sexta (23) e no sábado (24).

Abre hoje para o público a exposição “Laços do Olhar”. A mostra, que ocorre no Instituto Tomie Ohtake, conta com 400 trabalhos selecionados pelos curadores Paulo Herkenhoff e Roberto Takaoka (curador-assistente). Dentre as obras estão telas de Adriana Varejão e fotografias de Nobuyoshi Araki. A idéia é mostrar as ligações e influências mútuas entre Brasil e Japão.

The exhibition “Laços do Olhar” inaugurates today. The show takes place at Instituto Tomie Ohtake and hosts 400 works, selected by curators Paulo Herkenhoff and Roberto Takaoka (curator-assistent). Exhibited are: paintings by Adriana Varejão and photographs by Nobuyoshi Araki, to name a few. The idea is to show the interconnections and mutual influences between Brazil and Japan.

Hoje abre na i8 Gallery a primeira das três exposições que Neto fará neste mês.

Dia 27 tem abertura da coletiva Pshyco buildings: Artists take on Architecture, na Hayward Gallery, em Londres. No dia 23 haverá um bate-papo no local com o artista. Participam ainda desta exposição a dupla cubana Los Carpinteros, também representados pela Fortes Vilaça.

Finalmente, dia 29 tem abertura no MACRO - Museo d’arte contemporanea di Roma.

The artist inaugurates today, at Icelandic i8 Gallery, the first of three exhibitions in which he will participate this month.

On the 27th, he opens the exhibition Pshyco buildings: Artists take on Architecture, at Hayward Gallery in London. On the 23rd, Neto will participate in a conversation for the occasion of the exhibition. In addition to Neto, Cuban artists Los Carpinteros will also be participating in this show.

At last but not least, there is MACRO, opening on the 29th at the Museo d’arte contemporanea di Roma.

Está acontecendo no Barbican Artgallery, em Londres, a exposição Martian Museum of Terrestrial Life. A “missão” é interpretar e entender a arte contemporânea. Participam, entre outros, os artistas Cerith Wyn Evans e Erika Verzutti. Até 18 de maio.
