Como parte da mostra Premiere Brazil! Vik Muniz apresenta nesta quinta feira o documentário Waste Land, 2010, Dirigido por Lucy Walker e co-dirigido por João Jardim, Karen Harley, o filme explora os três anos de trabalho entre o artista e os catadores de papel do Jardim Gramacho no interior do Rio de Janeiro.
[The documentary Waste Land, 2010 will be presented this Thursday at MoMA. Directed by Lucy Walker and Co-directed by João Jardim and Karen Harley, follows the celebrated contemporary artist Vik Muniz on an emotional journey to the world’s largest landfill, Jardim Gramacho, outside Rio de Janeiro, and explores his three-year collaboration with the catadores, who inhabit the “trash city†picking recyclables.]
